SPURS, the season starts HERE, Come on you SPURS!

Tottenham Hotspur, yes the season does start here and we will see what the Harry Redknapp selection is, very interesting!

Spurs season has to start now to stand a chance of making 3rd/4th place but don’t write us off, it wasn’t all bad news, I see Harry has blamed the first 2 games on players wanting to leave and that is partly true, if we had been able to field a fit Sandro and motivated Modric in midfield against Manchester United we would probably have won. With the Manchester City result Harry must take a large part of the blame, even if both were motivated putting two attacking midfielder side by side (Kranjcar and Modric) was tactically naive and Modric certainly was not motivated!

It will be interesting to see how we line up tomorrow and more interestingly how Harry eventually utilises both Parker and Sandro in the team, it would also be good to see Giovani Dos Santos given a chance.

Harry Redknapp has done a superb job at Spurs and if he plays his cards right could go down as one of the great premiership managers

Why on earth does Harry still want Beckham, he won’t come unless he gets games and I just don’t see where he will fit into the team short of a major injury crisis but then you can understand why Levi does not leave transfers to Harry, think about it, think of the players Harry has fought to bring in, Defoe, Keane, Chimbonda, Kranjcar, Crouch, Hutton and Kaboul, apart from Kaboul and Kranjcar all have been failures and would not even get on the bench in any top 4 team.

Don’t get me wrong, for all the failures Harry Redknapp has done a superb job at Spurs and if he plays his cards right could go down as one of the great premiership managers but he needs to step outside his comfort zone, he is working at a different level now.
