Modric looks ever the more likely to leave Spurs and for the right money we should let him go and I think he will regret it!
Redknapp may have substantial money to spend if Modric leaves and has been linked with bids for Emmanuel Adebayor, Lassana Diarra and Scott Parker, whilst Adebayor is understandable Diarra and Parker are not.
Redknapp just feels comfortable buying old players but this hasn’t worked out at Tottenham with Keane, Crouch and Defoe all being failures last season, we may be back on the roundabout again with Diarra and Parker.
Both Diarra and Parker are holding mid-fielders and neither would get into the team ahead of Sandro, we also have adequate cover for Sandro in Huddleston so why Diarra and Parker both of which would demand first team football.
We cannot allow fantastic young players like Sandro to go the way of Giovani Dos Santos to make way for players at the end of their careers.
