Ken Clark last night pleaded with Tory rebels not to jeopardise his plans to give prisoners the vote, if ever a politician was out of touch then it is Ken Clark, it just shows what a disaster he would have been as Tory leader.
I think it is about time Ken retired, talented and in his way brilliant man but past his sell by date in the world of real politics and he just does not represent the electorate and would have us as party of a Federal Europe tomorrow if he could!
