European Union and the Euro-Zone, TODAY’S biggest threat to democracy!

So there we have it, the official 2 tier Europe which leaves the UK no choice but to leave the European Union and not before time, so bring it on let’s have the referendum!

All the European Union, apart from the UK and the Czech Republic, have signed the Fiscal Compact treaty even though it is technically illegal because it should have had unanimous approval but of course the UK vetoed it but still they press on!

There was a lot of pressure for David Cameron to sign, not least from his Lib Dem coalition partners but there was no way he could sign even with the safeguards he requested, he would never have got it accepted by parliament or the British people. Let us be under no illusions, under this treaty the UK budgets would have been scrutinised by the European Union and if we had stepped out of line there would have been a punishment fine, we would have started the process of losing control of our economy which would have been a slippery slope to full European Union integration. Now let us look at the threat to democracy that the European Union poses, first of all the more we are dragged towards European Union integration the less of an influence the British voter will have because apart from the major decisions being made in Brussel’s the voting system is totally undemocratic and just ensures and secures politicians in a job for life!
