European Union and then the economy, crisis, what crisis?

All we seem to write about on ‘Its just life’ is the European Union and I think we should give it a little break before it gets too monotonous, so after this rant we will leave the European Union alone for the rest of this week!

Doesn’t really get under the skin though that when the European Union, through its Euro-Zone, is on the brink of pushing the whole world into deep recession and possibly depression because of an enormous gamble which was never going work it comes up with directives which say that manufacturers cannot state that water helps prevent dehydration, even though that is a fact!

Now, apparently we may not be able to listen to classical music the way we have been used to, it seems that some of the strings on the string instruments are made from cow gut, I suppose they always have been, but the European Union is now frightened the musicians may catch Mad Cow disease from the strings. And then, why are people so surprised when it is predicted that the United Kingdom id heading for a double dip recession, 50/60% of our exports go to the Euro-Zone which is on the brink of failure, we are restricted by the ceaseless European Union beaurocracy and employment laws, mad equality laws brought in by Harriet Harman and the Human Rights act, add to that the mess that the last Labour government left behind, the Unions sparring for a fight at all costs and the Lib Dem lunatics, it is no wonder David Cameron is losing his hair!

Any council which thinks that a climate change department is more important than care for the elderly ought to resign now!

On top of that we have councils making politically expedient budget cuts instead of the right budget cuts, what I mean is that councils making the cuts to embarrass the government not cuts in waste, for example one council is drastically cutting care in the home for elderly people and blaming it on government cuts whilst at the same time keeping a very expensive climate change department. Any council which thinks that a climate change department is more important than care for the elderly ought to resign now!

I now see that Brussels is about to issue legislation which will compel our councils to spend billions making our public buildings more energy-efficient, what on earth should it have to do with Brussels, I just hope the Prime Minister tells the European Union to park it.
