European Union – Barroso wants greater economic integration!

European Union President wants greater economic integration for ALL 27 countries, read the signs, the back door is being pushed open, probably with the help of the Lib Dem’s

European Union President Barroso has stated that European Union must have greater economic integration, he said in his State of the Union address that “we need to complete our monetary union with an economic union. It was an illusion to think that we could have a common currency and a single market with national approaches to economic and budgetary policy”,

Now here is the cleverly concealed rub, the Commission will in “coming weeks” present a proposal for a “single, coherent framework to deepen economic co-ordination and integration, in particular in the euro area”. He said this would be done in a way that ensures the compatibility between the euro area and the European Union as a whole. Further reading

Of course this is not new, I have been writing about this since the Euro-Zone was created, it is amazing it has taken them so long to realize it but they are slowly trying to close the noose around the UK, particularly taking into account the powerful influence they now have within our own government. Whilst nothing would be allowed to happen with the Conservatives in power a Labour or Labour/Lib Dem administration after the next election would be easy meet because history shows both would govern in spite of the people, not on behalf of the people!

From the Euro-Zone point of view Barroso is spot on, it was obvious from the very start of the Euro-Zone but his now, deeply veiled, comments about economic compatibility between the Euro-Zone and the none Euro-Zone countries is highly dangerous for the UK, the UK simply can’t afford nor are the voters prepared to put the UK’s future in the hands of this massive beaurocracy of failed politicians and we must safeguard our position now, in a recent Daily Telegraph poll 92% were for changing our status with the European Union from membership to a trading agreement only, sounds pretty good to me!

The UK beware, that is all I can say, these are the people who let you have a referendum but if you do not vote the right way they just keep you voting until you do, the European Union has nothing to do with democracy, it is the real European Dictatorship!

Two final points:

  1. Mr Barroso wants a transaction tax on all financial transactions across the European Union, this would destroy the City of London as the worlds biggest financial centre and why should we destroy one of our greatest assets to rescue the financial folly in mainland Europe, David Cameron and George Osborne must say NO and stick to it, Clegg or no Clegg!
  2. We are responsible for around 4% of the IMF budget, this means that whatever happens we will be paying a substantial amount to bail out the Euro-Zealots, we must simply tell the European Union that ALL and our only contribution, going forward. to the Euro bail out/rescue will be via the IMF, we can’t afford to carry on throwing money at the European Union in all directions. This Euro-Zone folly is the baby of Germany and France, they must carry the burden!
