European Union, Euro-Zone, not satisfied with creating a monetary system which is still close to bankrupting the world economy, discarding their own safeguards to allow countries like Greece, Portugal and Ireland into the Euro-Zone, the whole project being a massive folly based on ego which will only work in boom time, now they want to raid personal assets to pay for it!

This is just further proof of how tenuous the European Unions ties to democracy are and, if we needed any more evidence, why the UK is just not suited to life inside the European Union, we value democracy too much!
We just have to be very careful and vigilant that the talks between Cameron and Merkel are not just a smoke screen to keep the Eurosceptic majority at arm’s length, the longer David Cameron and Angela Merkel can hold off a British referendum the more chance they have of winning it, David Cameron just has to prove me wrong and convince the British people that he is serious about altering the British relationship with the European Union, he has to do that to win the next general election!
One of the ways the Prime Minister can convince the people that he is serious about changing fundamentally Britain’s relationship with the European Union is to put a bill before parliament to enshrine the European Union referendum in law with an earlier date than currently proposed, yes the Lib Dem’s and Labour would fall into the trap and vote it down but the British public would see once and for all that the Lib Dem’s and Labour have absolutely no intension of giving them a genuine say!
