Why should the UK contribute to the Euro-Zone bailout fund?

The Euro-Zone, so the french still think that the UK will contribute to the Euro-Zone bailout fund but why should we, we warned them from the start that it would not work and it has turned out to be a reckless gamble with the whole worlds economies.

Why should we, that really is the question, the Euro-Zone countries embarked on this journey even though the UK warned them it would not work and as it happens it is turning out to be a disaster, a dangerous reckless gamble which is now close to failure and in the end could also damage institutions such as the IMF.

The UK has stated that it will not contribute anymore money to the Euro-Zone and any money going to the IMF must be ring-fenced for general IMF work throughout the world but of course this current stance has 2 potentially powerful counter arguments, firstly because this is a disaster of world proportions failure of the Euro could throw most of the worlds economies into recession and second if the worlds other big powers contribute to the bailout fund then the UK may be put into a difficult position and end up contributing! UK politics would be a lot healthier and honest without the Lib Dem’s.

But I ask again, why, the Euro-Zone countries embarked on this adventure and totally ignored the rules of the game, we refused to join and warned that it would not work so just why don’t the Euro-Zone counties accept their responsibility and sort it out themselves, there is plenty of money within the Euro-Zone to do this but they seem to want the world to pay for reckless gamble.

I think in the end we may contribute but it should be directly through the IMF and it should be our goodbye present, of course, in the end the electorate will decide enough is enough the worry though is that the Lib Dem parliamentary party, over which Nick Clegg has precious little control – he can’t even control his ministers, may decide to vote with the Labour party on the European Union, then of course it would trigger a general election and the people really could decide, I think UK politics would be a lot healthier and honest without the Lib Dem’s.
