The Eastleigh by-election, it has been a week now, the night was long and hard for David Cameron but can he grasp the real truth because if he doesn’t he will destroy his Country, Party and David Cameron himself, the game has now changed, can David Cameron, it is time to reflect!

Eastleigh By Election Result
Liberal Democrat    13,342
UKIP                     11,571
Conservative          10,559
Labour                    4,088

If UKIP can continue the momentum gained in Eastleigh through to the Council Elections and European Parliament Elections next year then the 2015 general election could be a real game changer because the only party representing the true views of the British electorate is UKIP but!

To understand what happened in Eastleigh first look at the victors, the Lib Dem’s are celebrating but it is not a victory, just the success of averting disaster, the Lib Dem’s suffered exactly the same fall in share of the votes as the Conservative Party, on the day they lost badly to UKIP and were only saved by postal votes and tactical switching from Labour.

In reality this was so very close to disaster for the Lib Dem’s  because they suffered the same fall in the share of the vote, 19%, as the Conservative Party even though they were well prepared for battle with a slick organisation, nearly all of the local councillors and hundreds of works but hopefully the voters have found them out, if you read their mission statement on the Lib Dem website which proclaims ” The Liberal Democrats exist to build and safeguard a free and open society in which we seek to balance the fundamental values of liberty, equality and community in which no one shall be enslaved by poverty, ignorance or conformity. We champion the freedom, dignity and well-being of individuals, we acknowledge and respect their right to freedom of conscience and their right to develop their talents to the full. We aim to disperse power to foster diversity and to nurture creativity. We believe the role of the state is to enable all citizens to attain these ideals, to contribute fully to their communities and to take part in decisions which affect their lives.”

The mission statement says nothing about economic growth, profit, a fair days pay, low taxation, limits on state largesse, promotion of excellence or admission that, if our society wants winners, it must also have losers, the tough choices it just can’t deal with because all through the coalition the Lib Dem’s, although they will tell you different, have walked away from the real tough choices. The Lib Dem mission statement is a load of meaningless waffle and their only interest is to guarantee permanent power whilst cocooned in a world of unaccountable government, permanent coalition, subservience to the European Union brought about, eventually, by proportional representation creating a world where your vote has a zero value!  Part of this has been taken from the Max Hastings Saturday Essay – Democracy in peril: This was the week Britons finally despaired of their  leaders. It may be remembered as a disastrous turning point in our history

Good chance of handing the next general election to a Labour/Lib Dem coalition on the smallest percentage of the vote ever, with whatever voting system!

Now, what about UKIP, is this really their promotion into main stream politics, that is a difficult one, I think they have every chance of winning a large tranche of council seats and should be the largest party in the European Parliament elections next year but the problem they present, both for British politics and democracy is that they will stand a very good chance of handing the next general election to a Labour/Lib Dem coalition on the smallest percentage of the vote ever, with whatever voting system!

Mass immigration moving towards the Labour Party aim of creating an immovable left-wing electorial bias in the UK and the voters must/need take this on board!

It is a fact that if UKIP continue at above the 20% mark then the Conservative Party will stand little or no chance of taking the Lib Dem marginal seats they need to take to win a majority at the 2015 general election unless the Lib Dem’s are wiped out electorally but a Labour/Lib Dem coalition will mean uncontrolled immigration, ever deeper integration into the European Union, high taxation way down through the middle classes, high borrowing, ever deeper human rights involvement in all our lives and the country basically run from Brussels with the Labour plan of mass immigration moving towards its aim of creating an immovable left-wing electorial bias in the UK and the voters must/need take this on board!

Labour Party doing well in the polls, they will though be easily be found out but do they need to worry or do they even understand!

The Labour Party came a disastrous 4th with just over 4,000 votes which shows them making no progress in the south and is a result which doesn’t equate to their standing in the polls but they don’t deserve to do any better because not only did they essentially bankrupt the country, our banks and our entire pension system they went very close to creating Tony Blairs aim of creating a left-wing bias in the British electorate through mass immigration, Tony Blair laid out in a speech shortly after the 1997 general election that he wanted to create an environment where the Conservative Party could never get elected again cemented by his gerrymandering with the constituencies.

The Lib Dem’s with their opposition to the boundary changes have ensured that one more term of Labour government after the 2015 general election could complete the Blair project and end true democracy in this country, this is something the country could easily sleepwalk into but it will prove almost impossible to get out of!

So what of the Conservative Party and how do they regain the lost ground, it obviously won’t be with the help of their coalition partners the Lib Dem’s!

David Cameron has a credibility and trust problem, I have been saying that all Cameron has to do to win the next general election in 2015 is to be a real Conservative Prime Minister and push through the policies he was elected to implement.

The first time David Cameron stood up to the European Union his poll ratings shot up but the poll ratings dropped when the electorate realised that it was probably just a friendly front end because if push came to shuv Cameron would cave in, he has shown little intention  of taking this country out of the European Union and the electorate see his current tactics as just a smoke screen to win over the majority of his back benchers.

The same applies to a whole host of policies like Human Rights, Immigration etc. where his actions are again just seen as delaying tactics, so is this really David Cameron or the Lib Dem’s blocking everything and if it is the Lib Dem’s blocking everything how/why has he allowed a minority party to have such influence way beyond any minute electoral mandate the Lib Dem’s have.

It is a fact that the only party that is operating as a true party in coalition and the only party to have honoured the coalition agreement is the Conservative Party, the Lib Dem’s have no idea how to work within government

What ever the reasons David Cameron will not win majority at the 2015 general election unless he actually changes and becomes a real dynamic Conservative Leader but the problem he has is that he has no compass, he admits he has no ideology, no real beliefs, no guiding principles, he is a Flag Pole politician in the mould of Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, John Major, Howe, Heseltine, Miliband, Balls, Clegg & Co and will blow whichever way with the wind!

What this country now needs is a Sign Post politician in the mould of Margaret Thatcher, someone who has their own ideology, beliefs, principles, someone who knows exactly where the target is because if you don’t know where the target is how can you hit it!

Cameron has his set targets but he is almost frozen in the glare of the headlights, he is close to fluffing all of his targets on the altar of the Lib Dem’s who are literally holding the coalition to ransom, don’t forget, it is not in the interests of the Lib Dem’s for the Conservative Party to do well at the 2015 general election and there is not any more a real functioning coalition, nothing is private because the Lib Dem’s release every conversation, discussion to the press, taking credit for the good things and blaming the Conservatives for anything which has gone wrong!

It is a fact that the only party that is operating as a true party in coalition and the only party to have honoured the coalition agreement is the Conservative Party, the Lib Dem’s have no idea how to work within government but can David Cameron turn it around, can he become that Sign Post politician we need because if he can’t he is likely to end up with a legacy he did not want by destroying the Conservative Party as a major force, allowing in a Labour/Lib Dem coalition, leading to further integration into the European Union etc, etc.

If Cameron does not heed the warnings he could damage and change this country beyond recognition, he has to change, that does not mean the deficit plan which needs accelerating but with the addition of an imaginative growth strategy and if the Lib Dem’s won’t let him then he has to tell the electorate what is needed but explain it has been blocked by the Lib Dem’s, it is the same game the Lib Dem’s have been playing since the inception of the coalition.

So David Cameron, show us you actually do have the metal to be a Conservative Prime Minister, show us you can save your country and if anyone has views to add to this debate please comment below, join the debate.
